We started with two years of taste testing to find the best foods to include on Slabs menu for melt in your mouth goodness. Then, we asked you (and the entire community) what you liked to eat. Next, we started taste tests. Many of you can attest to the various taste tests we’ve performed over the years. We thank you for your palates. Within Slabs menu we have tried to keep our prices low eventhough meat prices fluctuate. Additionally, though meat prices are not at their lowest, we always have a special. Slabs has a large selection of woodturned bowls, platters, and hand carved trays in our Wood Gallery. While most are made from South Carolina woods, we have some hard to find Pecky Cypress as well. We make bullet 50 Caliber Wine Stoppers, and other style wood wine stoppers, along with wood bowls, and wood boxes. All of these make great birthday gifts and Mother’s Day gifts, or Father’s Day presents.

New Desserts Not Always on Slabs Menu ~ So Delicious
Last month while realizing I love to eat banana pudding with bbq I decided to make my Grandmothers banana pudding with lots of love and prayers. Finally, after three hours of stirring and waiting for it to thicken it tasted delicious but still needed time. So, I continued to stir even longer to make it shiny and thick, wanting just the right consistency. Furthermore, I readied a few containers with the tasty treat we decided to call Nana Puddin. So, after reading some posts saying “Slabs Nana Puddin is the best banana pudding I’ve ever eaten”, and hearing the requests for more we are now offering old fashioned homemade from scratch Nana Puddin. Come early each day to get the biggest choice of old fashioned desserts with various sizes available.
